A member has reached out, looking to use the Custom option in the Publication menu on the history genre page to find history books published in 1990, but was unable to do so. It looks like the publication and media dropdown menus on the genre pages aren't working at all. Whatever is selected in those menus, the total number of books displayed remains the same.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the History genre page (https://www.librarything.com/genre/9/History). You will see 1,074,703 titles displayed.
2. Use the Custom option in the Publication menu to enter 1990, and then hit Apply.
3. The page is unchanged, still displaying 1,074,703 titles
Note: This is true regardless of which option is used in the dropdown menu for publication, or for media. It is also true of other genre pages.
