Why I voted "no"? (tag separation/combination) #16

It's one of those annoying near-matches; the "core" of the respective semantic ranges is the same, but the outer boundaries don't match.

Memoir shouldn't be combined with memoraĵo, because memoraĵo means also a souvenir and a keepsake. Tags souvenir (used over 2000 times) and keepsake exist, so it is entirely possible that someone would use the memoraĵo tag to mean either of them.

Word skribaĵo means writing and likely also scripture. Sources:

If you think that Writing--Bible shouldn't be combined with Bible or scripture -- Bible, then you should vote against combining these:

Thanks for knocking down all my kinda shoddy Esperanto combo suggestions. I do try to double-check dictionaries first but sometimes I suppose I miss some extra info. Sorry for giving bunkus ones in the first place at all though, I'll try to bet yet-more-careful in my merge suggestions

Wikipedia and wiktionary are good places to check. Wikipedia will give you alternare meanings in major languages, and Wiktionary will tell you if that combination of letters means something in another language.

There are various suggesrions such as https://www.librarything.com/tag/detail/Chad%2520%F0%9F%87%B9%F0%9F%87%A9#tab:co... for a country name with a flag to be combined with just the word. Since these words have other meanings besides the country I have voted No. The flag limits the meaning to just the country.
