Problem editing series page

I'm working on the series Legends Of Chima but when I edit the series and save it, I notice that sometimes the order gets changed; for example (at the moment) Chapter Book 2 & 3 (a combined edition) has slid below book 4 even though I didn't edit that section. It's happening today and also two days ago.

Separately I'm finding that the site is very slow today. I don't think it's on my end because other sites seem fine.

Sounds like you need to check the series basic settings. From the sound of it, the sort is automatic by order label; for alphanumeric labels, you need to switch to custom sort where you drag and drop the titles.

It's at least the third time it's happened. When I was editing the series two days ago, 1 and 2 got swapped so I re-ordered them. It happened twice (though I didn't notice if it was the same set - there are several sub-series on that page).

>4 superboy: There is something weird going on there: in any case, that particular volume ought to be in collections & selections, not the core series, as it's an omnibus. You could try changing the label to 'Chapter Book 2 + Chapter Book 3' as 'Chapter Books' may be causing the problem.

But agreed, this sort of series is really difficult to handle.

Re Collections & Selections, there are still quite a few books to add and organise; I was just waiting to see if this can be resolved so I stopped working on the series.
