Looking for a thick paperback published no later than July 1989 when I read it. Female-targeted bonkbuster. Heroine is known throughout as Pepper, having changed her name from Rachel or Rebecca to escape her Romany background. Her surname is Finesse, Finnesse, or very similar. She becomes a successful businesswoman and confronts four or five former male lovers. One is revealed to be gay, and another seduces her again at the end. The paperback cover was illustrated showing Pepper with short red hair standing forward facing in the foreground, with the former lovers behind her looking sideways rather than at the reader. Chatgpt suggested Judith Krantz which immediately rang a bell, however I'm not sure. Have never been able to find it again!
