Since a lot of people apparently don't bother looking past New Features for a more appropriate group in which to post suggestions, RSI should be higher up.

Of course, I also wish that starting new threads in New Features was limited to staff...

#1, that's a GREAT idea.
I agree that #3 would be even better, but the software probably isn't set up to have a different set of permissions for "starting a thread" versus "posting to an existing thread", and the people who can't be bothered to read group descriptions would probably just hijack existing threads with a "for some reason I couldn't start a new thread" explanation.

I agree with #1 as I think the title of the New Features group might be misleading to some. Perhaps they are interpreting it as the "(Suggest) New Features" forum. For that reason it might be better to also re-title that group to something like Announcements of Newly Added Features.

I agree with the idea of moving RSI above New Features.
It's not like there's new threads incorrectly started in the new features group on a daily basis, but it would be good to reduce the occassional to the rare...

A rename and movement sounds good: "New Feature Announcements" or "Staff Feature Announcements"
