Power of Three

What do you think of the three main characters in the Power of Three? I think Jaypaw is a little too quick to fight. Lionpaw is being way too easily mainipulated by Tigerstar...I think if brambleclaw just told him about his experiances with tigrestar and Hawkfrost and how they're not the best cats to be around, Lionpaw might be smart and ignore them. he seems so stupid! He's not going to figure out that Tigerstar's influence is bad until it's too late.

Wow I made a lot of spelling mistakes in that one! Anyway I find myself getting kinda upset....I did all this work to try to get this group back together and now I'm the only one writing on it! I'm basically talking to myself....well, hopefully someone will read this and respond. :)

I agree, Lionpaw is stupid, but it's plot development. It's kind of cliched. What will probably happen is Tigerstar gets Lionpaw to start doing bad things, and others will have to rescue him and it will be a landmark in his life, where he gets new personality growth and realizes the bad things he'd done.

No, no, it made sense. Didn't that kind of happen w/ Brambleclaw as well? Except he just figured it out on his own and made the decision to be good...I guess weakness concerning Tigerstar is a genetic trait or something.

I don't think it's weakness, so much as Tigerstar being incredibly manipulative.

well yeah, but Tigerstar is particuarly able to manipulate his own kin. I think he would have less of an influence on cats that weren't descended from him.

But that's because they're his descendants, so they might think he can't be that bad, he's their ancestor, right? While other cats have either experienced Tigerstar's evilness, or have been scared with stories of Tigerstar from when they were kits.

Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just annoying after a while that Tigerstar's descendants believe that...you would think they would hear enough about him that they wouldn't want anything to do with him, that they would want to make their own life and shake off his shadow (or something like that)

Yes, but it's not all logical, it's partly whatever will make a story that sells. That's always a factor.
