I've just stumbled across this series and am starting with dead beat by accident, not knowing at the time of borrowing that it is half way through the series!

Read 'em love 'em. They are more Urban fantasy than crime. Fun, light and entertaining, almost as much fluff as a cosy, but with a more fantasy twist. The first is Storm Front.
Harry does develop throughout the series, which is good. the earlier works are bit narrow in terms of good vs evil whereas later on Harry gets to walk on the grey line between the two.
