There are a few books on my Member Recommendations that I'd like to hide. Some I've read already, but don't have listed because I'm a purist, thank you very much. Others are recommended for books that I intend to get rid of, but haven't because we've been promised Collections (I'm holding listing-on-BookMooch hostage until they show up). And there are several I'd like to hide because they're not in English and I have no idea what the heck they are.

While I can live with the first two groups showing up for a while yet -- Collections are, apparently, more immanent than ever -- I find the last category annoying. And since LT is a multilingual site, the best "fix" on offer would be to allow users to hide member recommendations so that they don't show on their lists.

I was thinking about this just this morning. Definitely a good idea.

Yes. I especially run into trouble with books being recommended that I have as part of omnibus and such.

I would LOVE to be able to hide member recommendations.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind tag filtering, too, but for now I'll stick to asking for a "hide" feature. Filtering can wait until we have hiding and Collections.

Wait...what do you mean by tag filtering? Because you can look at recommendations by tag already...

>6 PhoenixTerran:
You can for the comuter-generated ones. Unless I missed something, you can't for the member recommendations.

Oh! Gotcha, you're right as far as I know. Forgot that we were talking about Member Recommendations specifically. That would be a cool option there, too.

Yes, a hide feature for those would be lovely.
