Laura Ingalls Wilder's On The Banks of Plum Creek is set in Minnesota.

Oh MAN. I read this one already. So I can't count it!

Ok then, how about Lake Wobegon Days, and the various sequels/related titles: Happy To Be Here, Radio Romance, Leaving Home, We Are Still Married, Wobegon Boy, Lake Wobegon Summer 1956...

Sounds fabulous! I listened to a CD of the stuff for the first time recently. I should give the books a try.

Isn't In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O'Brien set in Minnesota?

John Sandford's Prey series takes place in or around the Twin Cities and occasionally outlying areas as well. By reading these and then visiting the state, I just knew I had to have me a Leinie!
