There was a programme about cryptic crosswords on BBC4 last night, which will be repeated next Sunday (16th November) at 9.30pm. Those in the UK can watch it online here.

I caught the bit in the paper about it too late to tune in, so it's good to know there's a repeat.

This programme ("How to Solve A Cryptic Crossword") is being repeated again on BBC4 on Monday the 7th at 8pm.  As before, those in the UK will be able to watch it online here.

This was first broadcast on 10 November 10 2008 on BBC4 so maybe it is an annual event (I jest). It is particularly interesting for those of us who like to know more about the people who set our puzzles.
