Young Adult Novel

This has been driving me nuts. I read this book, many moons ago, that was a science fiction book where a group of teenagers were in this contained area. The only way they could get food (meat pellets, I believe) was dancing when these lights flashed from this machine. I still remember the last line. "The lights flashed. They began to dance."

Any help?

House of Stairs by William Sleator

I'm guessing it's by William Sleator, but I'm not sure of the title.

I've noticed that a large percentage of all YA Name That Books are William Sleator. I fielded a stumped patron's question a few days ago that ended up being two William Sleator books.
