whats with the word association? out here, it's been -30 C for weeks, today, we have -2 and it feels almost tropical. one wonders why one doesn't move, but hey, the kids live here too and so we stay.....good weather for reading, anyway! hope the weather where you are is better!

Don't ask me, cjpiat. These people are crazy. Who knows why they do the things they do. I just like hanging here because it makes me look all serious and responsible, by comparison.

Its been very warm here lately, of course on the weekend it's cooled off. Still, not too bad today, about 23C/74F. I'm concerned that the water might be a bit too cold. Still, there's only one way to find out for sure, neh? BTW, there is a "hows the weather" thread around here somewhere, if you're interested.

32: if its -30 C, and 24 C is like 74 F, i dont wanna know how cold it is in. the coldest we've had here lately was like 28 F which is below freezing(i forget how to change it to C, but i'm in the US and we use F so whatever...) and i live in Texas!!!! gosh i hate the cold. (though cold for me is 68F, we have humid air) i dont know how some stand it. i live down south for a reason!!!! CANT WAIT TILL SPRING!!

There's not much difference betwen C & F when you get that cold, Smiley. -30C is just -22F.

28F is -2C, which i agree is cold - colder than it gets here except in midwinter at night, maybe.

BTW, Google has a great converting function. Just type "convert 28f to celsius" into the search bar and it converts it for you. Works for all kinds of metric-imperial conversions.
