Translated Standard Deviation notice issue

I noticed while doing some translating on librarything.de that the standard deviation notice was translated for the Zeitgesit "Bücher" page (Books), but not on the "Autoren" page (Authors), and that there is no option to translate the notice on the author page.

Edit: I also noticed that the Debug test is not translated and that there is no option to do so.

This is not only a bump, but I wondered if the same as above applied to other languages, and it does indeed apply to the Schrijvers page in the Dutch translation.

I don't know which option is best to get attention to translation problems: to have several topics in different groups or one topic for all. Translation issues are not among the priorities in LT.

Most issues (if not all) about not being able to translate something applies to all language versions.

Thanks. But I must say, if the Standard Deviation notice has been translated for a language and the translation doesn't make it to the Authors page for two different languages, it most likely affects all of LT.

I wouldn't say that translation is a low priority for LT but just a low priority at this time. Tim has said that he likes to devote his time to one area at a time rather than spread LTs limited resources too thin and it doesn't seem to be translation's turn yet.

When I said that translation issues are not among the priorities in LT I was actually referring to something you said yourself, Tim. Majority of members are American and most non-Americans use the English site. People want cool new things like collections so much more than proper translations that it is understandable if the translations are not prioritized.
