Am I the only one who wishes there were annotated editions of Jasper Fforde's novels? I think I'm catching most of the literary references, but his books are so dense with them that I know I'm missing some.

The early ones at least were completely explained by reader supplied notes on his website. For example the guide to The eyre affair is HERE

Jasper's website is vast and hugely entertaining.
