Why edit out the email addresses? leave them in so that the trawl bots can spam them back. Or did they not actually leave you any method of contacting them - which wouldn't be unusual. The BBC did a survey and of all the spam they recieved trying to sell stuff over 50% of it contained dead links so you couldn't buy it even if you had wanted to.
