Amo. amas, amat and all that

I've just finished this book by Harry Mount and recommend it. It takes a laid-back but comprehensive approach to revising simple grammar and is full of fascinating info on Roman emperors, architecture and gods and goddesses, and includes asides on the Latin used in "Life of Brian" and the books of P G Wodehouse. The whole is leavened with humour and is an enjoyable and useful read.

Cool, I've never heard of that one before; I'll keep an eye out for it :-)
