Are any of you kids blogging?

I just began a blog of my own yesterday. Feel free to drop by and leave a comment. You don't even have to be nice to me.

Is anyone else blogging? Maybe you could leave your URL's. Mine is: www.lavengrosjournal@blogspot.com.

Hey, Mike!

Nope, blogging is just one thing too many. LT and KindleBoards are about the extent of my online involvement except for a health-related email/web group I help moderate.

Hey, Marge!

My daughter Michelle got me into twitter and from there into blogging. I've only been doing this since Saturday. Michelle went to some meeting on new technologies, and got all excited about it. And I'm the only one doing it! Michelle hasn't even opened a twitter account yet because she's too busy, and can't choose a twitter username she'd be happy with.

I've posted 6 blogs, and no one has read them yet. That's okay with me. It gives me a chance to get some thoughts down, and write a jingle or two for my own amusement.

I've changed the name of my blog. If you decide to check it out one of these days, it's now: http://crowdedonavelvetcushion@blogspot.com. That's the tail end of a quote from Thoreau: "I'd rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion."

Hey Star! Your blog is a blast! I've just been doing a "friends & family" type blog. I wanted to stay away from politics etc. But I may start another blog about books. I have no idea how you got all your "bells & whistles" onto your blog...I have a lot of catching up to do.

p.s. I found another free book on Amazon: Weapons of Choice by John Birmingham. It's about an aircraft carrier named Hillary Clinton and some other ships that get transported from the year 2021 back into 1942.
