I am actively working on these topics

This looks like it is going to be an awesome group to interact with. My research interests are counterinsurgency, culture and conflcit, interagency cooperation toward solving conflcit (including the improtant role of NGOs), causes and mitigations of terrorism, and stability operations to name a few.

I currently work for the US Army's School of Advanced Miltiary studies and I am working closely with the Human Terrain Systems project.

It seems from a brief purusal of the topics and posts here that many are interested in the same or similar topics.
