I started the 100 challenge on 1/29/2009 and as of 12/26/2009 I have read 157 books - a bit more than the average of 6 that I hear is the norm for most adults - I guess they aren't member of LibraryThing!

I will most likely add one maybe two more books to this before the end of the year in five days.

This does not count the "Pearls Before Swine" books that I have also read this past week or others of that ilk.

make that 158 - have picked out another, but will probably not actually get to 160 - unless I count the "Pearls Before Swine" books - then I might hit 170!

I am hoping that I make 160 in the next three days. I am almost, at this writing, finished with 159 and 160 doesn't look like it will take long.

I also want to make note that this is from February 2, 2009 and that I had actually recorded 16 more books in my second 50 from 2008, which I finished at the end of January 2009.

So after I finish the Star Trek book today I will have actually read 175 books for 2009 with the possibility of a 176th.

I think that I will set up the ticker for 150 books for 2010 in the 1010 challenge.
