Hey! I got Section 8. I can see why though - it seems to fall into the type of books I'm kind of hooked on these days.

After a over a year with nothing, I snagged The Wife's Tale by Lori Lansens (touchstones not working). Pretty exciting just because it's been so long.

I got Day of the Assassins: A Jack Christie Novel. It's a YA historical fiction adventure story about WWI. I'm a children's librarian, so I usually request the Juvenile or YA titles. It's the first in a series...can't wait to get it!

Unfinished Desires by Gail Godwin!

I never received the yellow comment notification, but unfortunately there is a profile note telling me no book this month. I really wanted the new Lansens book the wife's tale. I thought I was a perfect match, I guess Abby and the almightly didn't think so.

Nothing for me, but I'm a bit relieved. Despite there being some books I would have really liked to read, the last thing I probably need right now is ANOTHER book that needs to be read and reviewed in a timely matter.

Definitely something weird going on with the notification system. I never received a notice either way, but then when I looked at my list of ER books awarded and reviewed, No Time to Wave Goodbye by Jacqueline Mitchard had been added. I loved Deep End of the Ocean, so I'm thrilled!

I got Day of the Assassins as well and am really looking forward to reading it. Showed my husband the book's website and now he's threatening to snag it first when it arrives. LOL Ha! We'll just see about that!
