award pages - data missing?

Why are some award pages no longer displaying parenthetical information for each book? Has something changed in the code for the page or for CK?

See for instance:

These used to have parenthetical information displayed, in one case showing which edition of 1001 Books listed that particular book, and in the second case showing which theme of the Guardian list the book belonged to. The information is still in CK for the books, so far as I can tell, but it's no longer showing on the award page.

Interesting - if you go and check individual work pages, the parenthetical information is still there.

I'm wondering if the information has gotten "stricter" in the way that it displays parenthetical information. And now I know I'm not being crazy. I just finished the list for the ALA Outstanding Books for the College Bound -

And when I started, I originally wanted to do the classification simply as a parenthetical. After all, I was pretty sure that I'd done it on the Guardian list that way - but it wouldn't display. So I had to do entries with the pipe method to get the words to display.

Bump. All non-numeric information in parentheses is still not appearing on award pages.

Should we start thinking about changing the way we enter awards? Or is this non-numeric data going to be displayed on award pages again soon?

I was looking at the Commonwealth Writers' Prize page, for instance, and there's now no way on that page to see all the information about which ones were the regional prizes vs. the overall prizes, and so forth (which is all data that people have entered but that isn't being displayed on the award page).

I've been noticing this for a while. I wish we had better standardizations on how the Awards and Honors should work. Like for shortlists or fiction/nonfiction, readers choice, different editions etc.. it's sort of turning into a monster.

Bump - is this change permanent?

Also, there's some kind of bug on these CK-generated series and awards pages, where if you click the series or award from the CK page, the title of the series/award page shows the parenthetical information.

The data on the page is otherwise correct.

I noticed that the information we intended to have in parenthesis seems to show up properly from the Statistic/Memes page when I look at Awards.

For instance, my Guardian 1000s show the parenthetical notations for Comedy, Crime, Love and whatnot when I view it under Statistics/Meme, but if I view the main page (http://www.librarything.com/bookaward/Guardian+1000) all those notations are gone.

So whatever is in the code on the Statistics/Meme pages that make it show - bring it back to the main page!

Right, the data is definitely there, and you can see if from the work page, the CK history, and the statistics page, but it's missing now from the awards/series page...

Can we please get the non-numeric parenthetical info to display again on the awards pages? It's showing up fine in my personal statistics, just not on the award pages.* There must have been a little code change, because we used to be able to see this on the award pages. It's really useful to be able to see this information, both for general itnerest, to see the categories and other specifications for particular books on the award page, and to be able to clean up and standardize the CK entries. Pretty please?
