Books just added not showing

I have just added 11 books, but only 2 show in my catalog (Your Books). They were showing, but when I added the last one - the other 9 disappeared. My counts are off the one in the box says 6198 and the one in collections has 6190. I have refreshed several times and they are still missing from the catalog, though the covers show on the home page. I don't have the lost books collection suddenly appearing either.

Chances are the servers are behind, but you haven't lost anything.

Well the problem hasn't been fixed, other than my counts all say 6190 - but it should be 6199.

The 9 books are missing from my Your Books (all collections), but their covers are listed on my homepage. No new collection has shown up (Lost Books).

They are:

Winter Thief
Hell and Earth
Fade Out
Juggler of Worlds
Unbound
Xenopath
Oracle of the Dead
Paris Enigma
This Must be the Place

Still not fixed. I tried a search of Your Books from the homepage for one of the missing books and it came back negative with no books found.

I guess you'll have to wait from a response from staff. Have you tried sending them an e-mail (see the Contact link at the bottom of every page).

I read on another post that someone did that for an error yesterday and got no response. I haven't seen Tim on the threads today and CD was on vacation.

I PM'd Tim and posted a link to this thread. I will probably have to wait until late tonight or Monday.

They should have reappeared now.

Tim/Chris: I expired all user caches and they reappeared.

I'm having some wonky behavior that sounds similar to this - books that I added in the past few days were showing up in some collections but not others, and on the /work/book pages, were showing my copy, with my tags and everything, but in the "Book info", the space after "Collections:" was totally blank.

I've fixed some of them, but there are currently 18 books in my wishlist that were added on 10 December that don't show up in my "all collections" collection. My numbers are correspondingly off - my "all collections" should be 2096 but is showing as 2078.

Any thoughts as to what's going on?

No. Its odd and the first time I had books in limbo. Hopefully someone will come and help you soon. You could try to email/PM Tim or felius.

Well, everything looks like it should this morning, so if that was an LT person who fixed something, thank you, and if it was something in my browser that sorted itself out on its own, sorry about complaining. :)

I cleared the caches on your account, but I didn't "fix" anything. Somehow a cache is getting out of sync, and figuring out where that might be happening is more a Tim/Chris thing than a me thing.
