There has been a suggestion that this group be combined with Catholic Apologetics, and there is currently a substantial majority in favor of so doing.

I wonder why so many people don't see a significant difference in the descriptions of these two groups. This group is described as being "For LT'ers of any religion/denomination . . ." {my emphasis}, while the other says that it is for "Preferably people who can agree with the statement that The Church is One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic", obviously a more limited audience.

It seems to me that these groups seek to draw quite different LT'ers.

(I'm starting a topic because I know that many people don't go to the main Group pages of their groups and so are unlikely to see the poll.)

The Apologetics group is, however, extremely small and almost completely dormant. Would it be better to decommission it entirely, or fold it into the other?

Agreed with Oakes. While I'm guilty, I wish this group was more active.

I have no problem merging, however I like the conversations we have here in which a non-Catholic view is put forward. I would want to see it stressed this group is not for Catholics only (as it currently is).
