I inserted the following disambiguation notice at author/cherpilloda http://www.librarything.com/author/cherpilloda :
----
A Cherpillod may refer to:
#1: Cherpillod, André see André Cherpillod
#2: Cherpillod, Armand
----
Maybe the text should be:
----
A Cherpillod may refer to:
#1: Cherpillod, André see author André Cherpillod
#2: Cherpillod, Armand
-----
It disappeared also. The whole work gets lost!

note: The first « see André Cherpillod » was written as « see LEFT SQUARE BRACKET+LEFT SQUARE BRACKET+André Cherpillod+RIGHT SQUARE BRACKET+RIGHT SQUARE BRACKET » which does not display here.
----
corrected: « see LEFT SQUARE BRACKET+LEFT SQUARE BRACKET+André Cherpillod+RIGHT SQUARE BRACKET+RIGHT SQUARE BRACKET » adding missing « + » signs

Did you use HTML there? Because it is halfway forbidden... Links to external sites will always be removed, that's for sure.
That's probably the reason because you are the only one working on it:

re: The whole work gets « lost » !
Because adding a disambiguation notice seems to be a JavaScript implementation you can not return to the previous page after you hit Save; you will not return to the previous page visited in the browser as happens if you post a talk.

I understand that LT does not like to get the site spammed. The two WorldCat links are not spam but very helpfull.
Please take a look at topic/80188#1730382 http://www.librarything.com/topic/80188#1730382 .
There is a discussion about « ambiguous authors » .
I know no better way to documentsuch things the using links to WorldCat.
Maybe LT should use a « white list » for urls. If so it should be documented in order to spread the knowledge about it.
