What's your favourite vegetable growing book?

This is not an easy one!

I've got a few:

The Self-sufficient Gardener by John Seymour

The New Organic Grower by Eliot Coleman

The ABC of Vegetable Gardening by W.E Shewell-Cooper

Mathew Biggs's Complete Book of Vegetables

Complete Organic Gardening by Jonathan Sturm

Mother Earth Manual of Organic Gardening by John Bond

Adam the Gardener by Max Davidson

The Permaculture Home Garden by Linda Woodrow

Vegetables by Roger Phillips
and the
Modern Farmers' Cyclopedia of Agriculture by Earley Vernon Wilcox which is a bit dated but still great.

I don't think I could live without any of those and the're just the general ones!

for a start

then there's these (which are not just about veggies):

Introduction to Permaculture by Bill Mollison
and
The Natural Way of Farming by Masanobu Fukuoka

What's yours?

Hope this post helps bring back the group from dormancy!

I could not do without Mini Farming by Brett L. Markham or The New Self-Sufficient Gardener by John Seymour.

Seymour in general is just one of those authors one should have some of.
