hello, we are new at "library thing" and at the moment, I am evaluating if this is the right format for our home library. I do not see if there is a place to enter an estimated value, (mostly for insurance purposes).
did I miss a tab?
is this possible on Library Thing?

thanks....K

There is no dedicated field for this. You could use the "comment" or "private comment" field.

ok, thanks, for the response...
I see that the problem with this (putting it in comment) is that I will not be able to add them up...

If you want to tally the numbers, your best bet might be to occasionally export your catalogue to Excel and perform a sum of the appropriate column. (If you use the comments field for other items, you might like to use the BCID field for the value, since it can be sorted numerically, or so I understand from other suggestions I've seen for people who want a field with a numeric value instead.)
