Hi there,

Just want to say hi. I see the group is small, but it has the potential to grow. I've always been interested in ethics in science, especially bioethics.

Great DNA picture!

Seems like a group I might be interested in. Not an area I have any books on though. Anybody got any general recommendations?

Interested in GMO, balancing third and first world resources, regulatory and patent issues, monculture and environment, and ethics in research.

I find all of the above interesting, and would add ethics relating to medical practices, pharmacy, etc.

#6 - Although I know the name, I've not read any of his books - perhaps if you want to start this on a seperate thread (to avoid cluttering up this introductions one) I'll see if I can respond to some of your concerns? about his positions.
