Here we go! Do you have your book yet? Mine is "in transit" from the library and I should have it sometime in the next couple of days.
2reading_fox
Have to dig it out from the back of a bookshelf, but I'm looking forward to starting it in the next couple of days when I've cleared my backlog of periodicals.
It's set in summer IIRC so should be perfect.

I had a copy in the house forever, but my younger daughter reports I sent it to her in her last book package. Luckily, I found a copy at Half Price Books. I started it yesterday and have the feeling I read it a long time ago. Not that I remember anything about it.

Mine's 'in the mail'.

I have a copy here at home, and one at work which everyone has been reading. I'm reading it in my lag-time at work, but when I finish my Sookie book, I'll read this one more steadily. It's a reread for me, so, no worries.
6Choreocrat
I have my own copy already, but I won't get to rereading until I've finished the current book and another one. I'm so slow reading at the moment. Too much thesis.

Well, I have it and have read it and am ready to discuss whenever the group is ready. Perhaps I will go over to the thread that allows spoilers.

I'm planning to borrow my daughter's copy.
:oD
And, I'll be placing the rest of my 'currently reading' books on hold. I need something FUN!

Do I out myself as a hopeless fan of both the authors if I reveal I have both the paperback (for reading in the tub and loaning to people) and the new edition hardcover (the demon version, natch)?

#9 - Hee hee. Should I mention that my daughter first 'noticed' her boyfriend when she spotted him reading the angel copy at school in the hallway? (I had bought her the demon copy, 'natch.')

I saw the 2006 version of The Omen earlier in the week. It was OK. I tried watching the original version today, but the disc was so scratched I couldn't. Too bad, it looked very creepy. I did see however how much of the premise of the book came from the movie.

#11 I wouldn't get too hung up on the references to The Omen. The cultural references to the Just William books and similar are just as noticeable.
13Morphidae
I got the book from the library but I need a few days to get some other books done before I can start.
14clamairy
I've only made it about 40 or so pages into it because no one will let me sit quietly anywhere these days, but I am loving it so far.

I just picked up the book yesterday and then read a bit while waiting for my husband to do some stuff. Just the intro alone had me laughing out loud. This is going to be fun and I do need some fun. I am really looking forward to this.
LT won't let me add it at the moment though which is a bit frustrating.

I have only 100 pages or so to go. If I could stay off LibraryThing I could finish it and get to the juicy spoilers thread.
17DeusExLibrus
Already have a copy. It'll be a reread for me, but worth it. Demon copy BTW.
18Citizenjoyce
Yahoo, finished. On to the spoilers thread. Devil copy.

I ordered the book from the library a few days ago and it just came in. I've been reading it off an on today, about 40 pages into the story. It's a reread for me as well. But, like Jennie, I remember almost nothing about it so I'm staying away from the spoiler thread for now. I do like the introduction as well :)
Angel copy.
Angel copy.

My copy is the old UK cover, with both of the supernaturals on there. They're both drawn quite handsomely.
