Author pics zeitgeist

I am not sure if this is a bug or not. I asked in the Author and Venue Pictures group but that group appears too small to help (http://www.librarything.com/topic/94997).

I've uploaded several author pics to LT (I know one or two were flagged but the others were fine), and show up on the zeitgeist page for the week, for example. However on my main home page my personal zeitgeist says I've 0 author pics, and I think I've done at least 10 which would get me one of those nifty bronze medals. What gives? Do I have to take the photo myself for it to count?

Now to your question. I believe many statistics are not updated as frequently as we we think they should be. The personal Zeitgeist, I believe, has a different rhythm from the Zeitgeist! Take a look in another week!

Of course if could be that they never expected anyone to get as many medals as you already have --- and some kind of limit has been reached (can't believe it, but with complex programs...)

The badges are supposedly refreshed every night at midnight (EST), so I don't think that is what is holding things up. . .

OK, that's odd then. It's been over a week since I uploaded the photos. I'm glad I put this in the bug thread because it clearly seems to me to be a bug.

Anybody from LT staff reading this and care to fix it?

I wonder if they aren't counting (?can't count yet?) pics added since the new picture system came into effect.

They can count well enough to show the week's zeitgeist, so there should be some way to translate it over.

Whether it's important enough to fix is another story though. There's a rather large backlog of bugs, as well as large numbers of unfinished features (e.g., venue photo uploading still down not moved to new system).

I believe that I posted 12 author pics well before the new image system was introduced.
