About 15 years ago, I read a book about a woman and two men (whom I believe were all roommates). All of them had physical and/or mental handicaps. I remember there being an element of a love triangle and it overall being rather dysfunctional. I think there may have also been a fire in the story where one character was burned (not sure). Anyways, this book (fiction) was on a suggested summer reading list in high school. I have been trying to remember the title, but cannot. Any help would be much appreciated.
