Hi!

I noticed this bug in the past at several author urls. They do not show any name.

Yesterday I realised that this may happen if the 'canonical name' field value is deleted.

example: muumlllerguttenbrunn which might be shared between
Müller-Guttenbrunn, Adam
Müller-Guttenbrunn, Alexandra
Müller-Guttenbrunn, Roderich
because of the conversion of 'ü' into 'uuml' at the author url.

I assume that the LT (php and or mysql) code is not handling empty fields the same way as undefined fields. It should and I think it can be changed easily.

Best regards Reinhardt

Please note the 'canonical name eng deleted previous content' line.

P.S. I will open another topic about discussions of a propper 'Disambiguation notice' about similar 20 character limit related urls.

Very old bug. Tim thinks it's a feature - though he claims later that he was joking, he's known about it for over a year and hasn't fixed it.
