Greets:
Not really a bug but a suggestion. For those users and/or works that have been removed for one reason or another, can we have those pages return a 403 http header code?
For example:
(I'm not picking on this user but we're discussing this elsewhere today and this was the first example of where it should or would come into play)'
http://www.librarything.com/profile/PatronQuo.com
Returns a 200 OK result. Which means it's gong to stay indexed by the bots no matter what happens.
http://www.google.com/search?q=PatronQuo
Probably would help with the issue of the noindexing on the show links other threads have discussed as well.

El'bumpo.
I was going to suggest that folks run through this google search and flag these spammers:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:librarything.com/profile/+flagged+spammer
You'll note that many of them have already been removed but yet google still has them indexed.
That gives me a sad face -> :(

I'm not going to return a 403. It's too confusing. We'll delete someone and then I'll get some angry email about how their page vanished and they have no idea why and etc. I did, however, just add a robots noindex metatag to deleted pages (also applies to suspended, etc.).
Thanks.
