Even though first published right after the Civil War in 1868, most of his start of day and end of day devotionals are applicable today. Such a great way to bookend a day -- waking up with God and closing the day with Him. Spurgeon can take even a fraction of a verse and deliver a powerful thought. Highly recommended. ( )
