Bob Hope's writing has unmistakable echoes of his stand-up patter. He tells great stories of his overseas shows, with wit and self-deprecating humor.
This book is a fabulous way to remember our WWII veterans. It follows one of Bob Hope's USO tours and is written with a sense of humor just like the ad libs in his films. I've read it twice so far.
Magazine format "book" detailing Hope's trip around the world to entertain GIs during WWII. This is the magazine format version. It was also issued in standard book form.
