The best book on identifying trees of Canada and the northern United States. It is particularly useful because it includes both native and introduced species (many of which are naturalized). The descriptions are clear, easy to read, and detailed, and the illustrations and photographs are excellent. The book also includes useful keys (including for winter trees). The only downside is that it's a bit large and cumbersome for use in the field. Highly recommended nonetheless.
