This guy is great. Popular science is reinvigorated and brought up to date. As a 21 year old French student you wouldn't think this would be my thing, but it's exactly that. What's great is that Cox is effortlessly cool BECAUSE he is so interested in his subject. This and the stunning pictures contained within the book (and yes this is important) make the book really easy and enjoyable to read. If you buy this try and watch the T.V series too, really animates the book. Prepare to feel like a child again. Great!
