I really, really love this shark. An excellent read-aloud story about being scared told by an irrepressible shark. The shark is nine kinds of awesome, PLUS there's a giant squid. How can you go wrong?
The cutest little story of a shark that 'isn't afraid of anything' but really, he's so afraid he's just trying to be touch. It touches on issues of pride but also the ability to stand up for yourself and walk yourself through fear instead of being taken over by it. Such a great story, I want to own this book.
This is a cute story about a shark who is afraid of spiders. He has confidence in the fear that he instills in other sea creatures, and spends his time perusing the ocean to distract the fear he feels. When the discussion finally comes to head about spiders, he admits he would swim away. In the end, the other sea creatures reveal their true fears to be sharks, which he thinks is just plain silly.
A shark that is the most powerful and feared animal in the ocean has a fear of his own. This book cleverly and humorously shows that fears are universal and even the strongest are afraid of something. A wonderful book for children.
Shark brags about how he is not afraid of anything, but there might just be one thing he is afraid of!

Clever, funny text with great illustrations.
“I’m a shark! Aren’t I awesome?
When I get a shot, I don’t even cry.
I can watch scary movies without closing my eyes.
If there were a dinosaur here and he saw me, you know what he would be?
Scared!”

This is a cute story about a shark who is not afraid of anything, except spiders. His crab friend asks him if he is scared of obvious things, for example, dinosaurs, but the shark always replies "does he have a spider with him?". This story is funny for children to read because sharks are known as such scary creatures. This character is lovable and relate-able which makes it a fun and interesting read for children. The author also incorporates real pictures in with the illustrations which makes the book more personable. I feel this book is a positive read for children of many ages.

This book is relate-able for readers because it is very common when people are scared of spiders. A shark is known as a fierce creature so when you find that show more even he is scared of spiders, it gives readers a common connection. The pictures of the author's family he incorporates into the story also makes the story more relate-able because readers can make a family connection while reading. show less
Sharks aren't afraid of anything. Or are they... ? Filled with Shea's signature goofy humor and appealing artwork.
