Description
When Carmen tries to tell her parents that there's a gas-tly surprise on her bed, they don't believe her. 'Good families like ours do not have farts,' they say. But when they go upstairs to check and the fart attacks, Carmen is left to deal with the stinky situation! A refreshed edition of this story is brought to life with brand-new art by New York Times-bestselling illustrator Joy Ang for the whole family (and their farts) to enjoy.Tags

This is a story about a child learning how it's ok to fart, no matter what your parents or the police may say, and about overcoming the domination of state and family structures to embrace one's own innate abilities and bodily functions. And, it's a story about no ordinary fart, but a huge, ugly, purple and green FART unlike any you have ever seen before. A FART capable of subduing domineering authority figures.
