This story gave a really good insight into Japanese cultural. It talks about one of the days they celebrate in Japan called children’s day. On that day a child gets to fly a kite of a carp. A Girl name Kimiko wants her own kite to fly. I love the illustrations in the book. This book is a good way for children to learn about some other people culture.
