Description

He is a Kamikaze. His target: a survivor of the bomb crew that incinerated Hiroshima more than half a century ago. She is an executioner. Her target: those responsible for her father's murder during the fall of Hong Kong, 1941. But they have something more frightening in common than revenge. It's beyond belief. Another in a long line of novels continuing the sage of a Canadian law enforcement team. This one was okay, and as the series continues the long line of unresolved issues gets longer, and makes it harder to keep up with what has happened and what hasn't happened yet. Not as gory as earlier Slade books, but still pretty good, I always enjoy the historical perspective of the story, whether it was true or as in this case made up.
They say every brilliant author is allowed a dud. With Slade they have written 11 brilliant books out of 12 and this book is NOT in the 11.
