The book Snow Lion by David McPhail is a book about a lion who lives in the very hot jungle. He is depressed because it is so hot out. He begins to offend his friends because he is too hot to play, or talk, or run. So finally he decides he has to leave the jungle because it just too hot for lions. So he takes a journey and goes to the mountains where he finds snow. He tries to bring the snow back to the jungle, but it melts before he gets there. Then he tries to get his friends to come with him, but they are all still angry with him. Eventually they do go with him, and all the animals play together in the snow.
