Over in Australia takes the reader "Down Under" and they discover the amazing animals of Australia. The story begins with one little crocodile and continues to 10 emus. It is a great tool for counting and learning about the native animals. I recently visited Brisbane, Australia and I was amazed by the natural wildlife. I saw kangaroos roaming the side of the road! I would use this book for a social studies lesson on the continent of Australia. I could also incorporate math and art into the lesson. In the author's note, it explains how to make your own Australian animals out of paper. ( ) no reviews | add a review
