The Legend of The Easter Egg is a beautifully illustrated storybook suitable for children ages 4-7. A simple story, it presents faith in Jesus in easily understood terms. This book is perfect for sharing the truths of Jesus’ death and resurrection to small children. At the end of the book, the author has included traditions and symbols common for Lent and Easter. A good addition to your Easter reading or great as a gift for the special child in your life.

Featuring the beloved setting and characters fron the bestselling Legend of the Candy Cane, this moving story about Thomas and Lucy takes us deeper into the mystery of Christianity. When his older sister Lucy falls sick. Thomas goes to stay with John and Mary Sonneman at their candy store. But all the candy he could desire doew not sure Thomas's aching heart. Only when Mary Sonneman shares with him the story of Easter does he understand the hope he has -- and what he can do for his sister.
The Legend of the Easter Egg is beautiful story about the deeper meaning behind Easter Eggs and Easter itself. I love the illustrations in this story and how they add to the meaning of the story. This is a religious book that is developed from Christian beliefs.
A good story for Easter with a strong brother sister story of love.
In my opinion, a rather convulated story about how Easter eggs came to be - but maybe this true and I just never heard it. Either way, my son enjoys the story.
