Charade

WOW! So many books, so many authors, I sometimes forget how much I enjoy the writing of Sandra Brown. This book rekindled my enjoyment. The book begins slowly, so many characters to integrate into the storyline, but soon enough the plot takes off and like her best writing the author soon has you breathlessly awaiting the next development in the story. I try to never give away spoilers so I'll just say, read the book, it's one of Brown's best I've read!

Hot steamy sex scenes...She works at the radio station and he is an author and they each have their secrets that they aren't quite ready to share with one another.
She is part of a charity for kids that are in the foster system as she herself once was.
Those who received heart transplants have all died by mysterious methods and she's sent many letters and she and others try to solve the mystery because she will be next...

A heart recipient patient finds herself tossed into a world of horror as other transplant patients start dying all around her. After meeting up with Alex Pierce she begins to fall in love and is stalked by a mysterious person.

Both scary and intriguing this novel is one that is hard to put down and the ending is surprising!

I found this book in a box of stuff from middle/high school and thought I'd give it a reread.

Wow... the cutting edge of organ transplants, people named Judy and some wild sex scenes. Probably awesome if you're in 8th grade- not so great as an adult.

excellent story about cat delaney who is a heart transplant victim and Alex Pierce who is an author - and someone trying to kill all the recipients of hearts on the same day Cat got hers. Good story - as usuall good Brown.

Typical contemporary Brown. The characters make or break her books.

A medical miracle gave TV personality Cat Delaney more than a new heart. It gave her a second chance at life. Then "fatal" accidents begin killing other heart recipients.
