Summary:
This book is about a little boy and about how his week is. Each day of the week is different; showing different emotions for what happened that day.
Personal Reaction:
This book is so cute. I love the different emotions expressed by the little boy in the book. Children in preschool have a hard time showing or expressing their feeling to other people and this book is great example to show children that.
Classroom Ideas:
1. I would use this book at the beginning of the year in an All About Me section. Introducing feelings and how to react to things.
2. I could extend on this book and have my class write a story of what their week was like and how they felt on each day with each situation.
The facial expressions of the kid are the real value of this book in teaching emotions and emotional language and expression to kids.

This book goes through a week of experiences with a young boy. Throughout the story this boy copes with different experiences and emotions and explains how he feels.
The book works through one week of a child's life. Each day a new event brings on a new emotion based on a new event happening that day.

Could be used to discuss reasons to feel each emotion and possibly the days of the week...early sequencing skills.
great book giving young children the words for some feelings they have.
Throughout the days of the week he shows how he feels according to what is going on that day. I love his facial expressions.
