Second in the Wanda Nell Culpepper "Trailer Park Mysteries." These are so good because the author (in reality Dean James) does not look down on or patronize the characters, but sees their worth even though they live in a trailer park. Some interesting social commentary as well as good plotting and Mississippi setting.
I really enjoyed this series. This is the second one but you don't need to start at the beginning. I really liked Wanda Sue and I hope things look up for her. A fellow waitress is murdered and Wanda Sue's boss is arrested. It's up to her to keep the diner running and solve a crime at the same time.
