A girl has the courage to do all sorts of wonderful things when no one is watching. She acts differently when people are watching. Yet, when her best friend and she are together, neither of them care who is watching.

When No One is Watching is about a girl who loves to be crazy (dancing, singing, grunting disapproval, and so forth) but only when no one is watching. If she's around others, she is quite and sullen. She's withdrawn and unhappy. At the end, we find that she likes it this way. Her best friend is the same way, and when they are together, they can be crazy together. ( )

When no one is watching is a book to read to young children who tend to hide their personality in pubic. This book encourages them to be who they are even in public. not to be shy to express who they are.

When no one is watching it is easy to let your guard down and sing at the top of your lungs or dance like your life depends on it. However, when you are in public it is easy to fade away.

A good story about a girl that does whatever she wants and can be whatever she wants as long as people aren't around and watching her. Once people are around though she ends up hiding, staying quiet, leaning, or simply not being involved. That is until she makes a new friend that is shy like her and then they feel free to be themselves. ( )
