Normally an integral part of the team, he finds that he is nothing more than a security detail in Iraq. Jack and his partner Bear have a run-in with four CIA special agents over the treatment of an Iraqi family. Within hours Jack and Bear are detained. All Jack wanted was to finish his enlistment and move on with his life. All he did was intervene and save a family from unwarranted violence at the hands of four CIA agents. Should have been titled Noble "Never Began" after reading 30% of this book. This is a total waste to time. ( )

Jack Noble is a character similar to Jack Reacher. In this book, he and his partner intervene to help a family from violence at the hands of CIA agents.
In doing so, he puts himself in danger and in the midst of a conspiracy that goes to the highest levels of the government.
I enjoyed this book. It is fast paced and takes the reader on quite a ride. ( )

This book was OK. Just OK. There was too much detail on the fighting scenes. The characters were somewhat one dimensional. I don't plan to continue this series. ( )

Jack Noble is a marine in name only. He’s in Iraq on a special assignment with the CIA. Normally, he and his partner, Bear, are an intragal part of the team, but now they find themselves simply as guards for their activities. He and Bear find themselves in conflict with the team leader when he goes too far interrogating a family and Noble steps in. They soon find themselves wanted for their murders. To get to the truth of what is happening, they have to go rogue. ( )

I received a free kindle copy of Noble Beginnings: A Jack Noble Thriller (Jack Noble #1) by L.T. Ryan in an Amazon promotion in exchange for a fair review.

I gave this fast paced, page burning suspense thriller about Jack Noble five stars, start to finish. It kept my full interest & was read in one sitting. Jack & Riley (aka Bear) are good friends who have each other's back through any ordeal. Clarissa, Mandy (the little lost girl), 'the Old Man' & Charles were fully flesh out. Some of them were despicable characters. Others were ones who needed defending at all costs. Clarissa is beyond tough. What stamina & courage!
