This book is not one written by Schopenhauer as an intentional coherent work of literature. It's a collection of his most insulting writings about various issues.

Things I learned from this book:
-Schopenhauer was a whinny little....man entitled bitch.
-Hated Hegel with a passion.
-Was a militant misogynist.
-Found it hard to counteract other opinions with arguments.
-Was against animal cruelty.
-Maybe was an atheist.
-Could make good jokes.

His humorous satire accompanied by various imaginative insults could be very entertaining, if more than half of the book wasn't devoted to his misogynistic opinions.

I feel generous today so 2/5 (but secretly 3/10) ( )

Book description
