It contains a unique round-robin short story called "The Challenge From Beyond," that was written in the mid-1930's by H. P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, C. L. Moore, A. Merritt and Frank Belknap Long, Jr. Possibly one of the strangest collaborations ever, it's not a terribly good story but the collection is worth buying for the historical and literary value of that story alone.
